New ISR Postdoctoral Researcher Christian Brodbeck most recently completed his Ph.D. in Psychology, Cognition and Perception at New York University, where he was advised by Liina Pylkkänen. His thesis research used MEG and EEG to study the neural basis of referential language processing. He has also worked on the development of MNE-Python, an open source package for facilitating MEG and EEG data analysis using the Python programming language.

At ISR, Christian is working with Professor Jonathan Simon?s lab to perform research with MEG on speech perception and how it is affected by adverse listening conditions.
