The Association for Computing Machinery has named Professor Dana Nau (CS/ISR) as a Fellow ?for contributions to automated search and planning.? Nau also is a Fellow of the American Association for Artificial Intelligence.

Nau was one of 50 ACM members worldwide recognized in 2013 ?for their contributions to computing that are driving innovations across multiple domains and disciplines.? ACM announced its list of 2013 Fellows on Dec. 10.

Electrical and Computer Engineering Chair Rama Chellappa also was elevated to ACM Fellow this year ?for contributions to image processing, computer vision, and pattern recognition.?
