ISR held its annual awards ceremony on May 19. Congratulations to the winners!

Ray Adomaitis (ChE/ISR). Ray is among the very best engineers in the country in modeling and simulation for semiconductor manufacturing processes. He is also known as an excellent team player who is dedicated to his teaching and to service to the university.

The George Harhalakis Outstanding Systems Engineering Graduate Student Award was presented to Nima Mesgarani. He was nominated by Professor Shihab Shamma (ECE/ISR), who noted that researchers around the world are impressed with Nima and his insights.

The Outstanding Staff Award was given to Payroll Coordinator Frank Briggs. Frank is a two-time recipient of the award, having also won it in 1992. Frank manages one of the most challenging and complicated payrolls in the university, and does so with commitment, efficiency and accuracy.
