ISR students Kevin Galloway, Keith Gregorczyk and Greg Gremillion are three of the five Ph.D. students in the A. James Clark School of Engineering to be honored in the inaugural class of L-3 Graduate Research Fellowships for the 2010-2011 academic year.

Galloway is advised by Professor P. S. Krishnaprasad (ECE/ISR), Gregorczyk is advised by Professor Gary Rubloff (MSE/ISR), and Gremillion is advised by ISR-affiliated Assistant Professor Sean Humbert (AE).

In July 2010, L-3 Communications gave a gift of $1 million over three years to the Clark School to benefit students through scholarships, fellowships and student program support.

L-3 Graduate Research Fellowships annually support five Ph.D. candidates in the last three years of a Clark School Ph.D. program who conduct research at either the Institute for Systems Research, the Maryland Robotics Center, the UM Energy Research Center, the Unmanned Autonomous Vehicles Laboratory, the UM Rotorcraft Center, the Center for Advanced Life Cycle Engineering or research in cybersecurity.
