Professor Shihab Shamma (ECE/ISR) has been named a Fellow of the Acoustical Society of America "for contributions to computational modeling and cortical physiology of the mammalian auditory system." Recently Shamma was awarded a five-year grant from the National Institutes of Health to study ?Spectro-Temporal Plasticity in the Primary Auditory Cortex.?
