IEEE has recently approved a new journal, IEEE Transactions on Information Forensics and Security. Professor K.J. Ray Liu (ECE/ISR) has been the prime architect and proposer of this new journal. It will provide a unified locus for archival research on the fundamental contributions and the mathematics behind information forensics, information security, surveillance, and systems applications that incorporate these features. The journal will launch in 2006.
