Grad student George Theodorakopoulos and his faculty advisor Professor John Baras (ECE/ISR) won the best paper award at the ACM Workshop on Wireless Security for their work, "Trust Evaluation in Ad-Hoc Networks." The paper presents a novel application of a mathematical framework (semiring theory) to the evaluation of trust evidence between network users. The award was given on October 1 at the workshop in Philadelphia.
