ISR-affiliated Associate Professor Peter Sandborn (ME) is the Principal Investigator for a one-year, $50,000 NSF SGER GOALI award for his project, "Collaborative Research, Forecasting and Proactive Management of Obsolescence for Sustainment-Dominated Systems." The project will explore how industry and academia can collaborate to determine how multiple resources can be combined to impact proactive obsolescence of electronic parts through forecasting and management.
