The Institute for Systems Research is announcing its first 10 industry and government members in the Associate Partners Program (APP). The APP grants members a level of preferred access to ISR faculty and students and priority for research and recruiting opportunities. ISR seeks out and guides its associate partners toward mutually beneficial opportunities for research collaborations, provides them with up-to-date information on the institute?s activities, and actively facilitates direct relationships among associate partners, faculty and students.

Partners receive priority access to the services of the institute?s external relations director, who provides one-stop access to ISR?s research community, helps ISR researchers understand the partner?s organization and research interests, identifies collaboration opportunities, facilitates connections with best-match faculty, arranges and catalyzes opportunity assessment discussions and development meetings, and guides the partner through the university?s processes and procedures.

Partners also receive faculty?s priority consideration for teaming research opportunities; have the opportunity to participate in short-term, bi-directional researcher exchanges; get priority and timely access to students for internships and permanent hiring; participate in networking opportunities with other associate partners; and have their organization?s name included in the Associate Partners? list in ISR?s print and electronic literature.

While valuable in themselves, Associate Partner benefits also provide a natural path to specific collaborations in ISR. These are made possible through additional partnership opportunities.
