Read about ISR-affiliated Assistant Professor Michel Cukier's (ME) research on quantifying computer security in our latest ISR Research Brief. Cukier and his research group built a testbed (hosted and maintained by ISR and the university's Office of Information Technology) to assess the likelihood of computer attacks in the wake of three different kinds of scans. The results defy the conventional wisdom and point to the need for more quantitative research in this area. | View Dr. Cukier's research brief | Browse ISR Research Briefs |
