Work performed in Associate Professor S.K. Gupta's (ME/ISR) Virtual Training Studio is profiled in the current issue of the Office of Naval Research's (ONR) Starlink newsletter. The studio uses digital technology to teach workers to assemble, disassemble or repair devices and equipment in a virtual environment before they work on the actual items. It is especially useful for training in manufacturing processes that employees do only intermittently.
