ISR alumnus Kiran Hebbar (Mechanical Engineering M.S. 1996) has been promoted to General Partner at Valhalla Partners, a venture capital firm based in Vienna, Va.

At Maryland, Hebbar was advised by Professor Dana Nau (CS/ISR) and Professor S.K. Gupta (ME/ISR).
