Professor Avis Cohen (Biology/ISR) has been named a Fellow of the American Association for the Advancement of Science (AAAS). She is being recognized "for distinguished contributions in spinal regeneration and in the development of the fields of computational neuroscience and neuromorphic engineering, especially as applied to motor control." The Fellow certificate will be presented to Avis at the AAAS annual meeting on February 14.
