Faculty and staff from across the University of Maryland gathered with friends and family on May 23 to celebrate the retirement of ISR-affiliated Professor William S. Levine (ECE). University of Maryland Provost William Destler presented Levine with a signed letter of honorary citation from Maryland Governor Martin O'Malley.

Dr. Levine served as a faculty member in the Electrical and Computer Engineering Department (ECE) for 36 years, specializing in controls research. Levine will continue with ECE as a research professor.
