In U.S. News and World Report's annual ranking of graduate school programs, the Clark School is tied for 16th among engineering schools in the nation. Also, the Clark School remains among the top ten public university engineering programs in the country.

The Clark School's programs are ranked as follows:

  • Aerospace: 11th in the nation; 6th in publics
  • Chemical: 34th in the nation (up from 35th last year); 22nd in publics
  • Civil: 20th in the nation (up from 23rd last year); 13th in publics
  • Computer: 18th in the nation; 11th in publics
  • Electrical: 16th in the nation; 9th in publics
  • Materials: 31st in the nation (up from 33rd last year); 19th in publics
  • Mechanical: 24th in the nation; 15th in publics
