The award recognizes the important contributions that graduate assistants provide to students, faculty, departments, administrative units, and the university as a whole. Recipients of the award are among the top 2 percent of graduate assistants on campus in a given year. This year 75 awards have been given across the university.

Zeyu Zhang is advised by Associate Professor Alireza Khaligh (ECE/ISR). His research interests are in power electronics.

Debdipta Goswami is advised by Professor Derek Paley (AE/ISR). His research interests are in non-linear systems and stochastic estimation and control.

The awards will be presented at the Annual Fellowship and Award Celebration on May 14.
