Systems Engineering Information Session

Recent data from Indeed.com indicates that: 1) the average salaries for systems engineers and software engineers are higher than those for any other engineering domain and 2) there are more “new jobs” listings for systems engineers in the US than there are for mechanical, electrical, civil, AND industrial engineers combined.

The Systems Engineering Information Session  is sponsored by the Office of Advanced Engineering Education and the Institute for Systems Research.

Come to learn more about:

  • What systems engineering is and what systems engineers do
  • Career opportunities in the field
  • How to become an INCOSE-Certified Systems Engineering Professional
  • How a single course in systems engineering can help you become an INCOSE-Certified Systems Engineering Professional and start you on a path toward an exciting career in systems engineering
  • How to complement your current M.Eng. with a certificate in systems engineering.

The information session will include:

  • A brief presentation that will address the topics indicated above
  • A panel discussion by instructors and alumni currently working in the field of systems engineering
  • Time for questions and answers
  • Informal discussions
